SELECTION IS ON

The deadline for applications to the 4th SHORT WAVES Festival has been reached. We're currently in the process of selection. Very soon we'll announce this year's competition programme!

4th EDITION ON THE HORIZON

The countdown to 4th edition of Short Waves has officially started! The selection is on and we're waiting for your movies (more info on the polish-language version of the site). 4. SHORT WAVES FESTIVAL will take place between 12th and 28th April 2012.

SHORT WAVES' WINNERS!

45 cities, 8 countries, 5000 wievers - Short Waves' journey has come to an end and it's time to announce the results!

After counting all the votes, we're honoured to inform that the Grand Prix of 3. Polish Short Film Festival SHORT WAVES and the money prize of 2,500 EUR goes to Piotr Bosacki, author of the film 'Dracula'.  

This year, for the first time, there's also a special 'Short Waves PRO' award of 1,250 EUR funded by The Mayor of the City of Poznan. It goes to Igor Chojna, author of the film 'Through glass'. The prize winner was selected by international jury consisting of specialists in the field of audiovisual culture: Laurence Boyce, Frank Bretschneider, Graham Daniels, Mikołaj Jazdon and Bartosz Żurawiecki.
